I chanced upon this quote yesterday while I explored the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and it has left me with mixed feelings. “Sparkling like a star.. Melting like a snowflake” My dad often tells me that when life provides us with opportunities, it is really up to us to let it slip past our fingers. When everything is placed nicely on a platter for us, it is up to us to overturn the platter and make a mess out of things. Don’t be the person that messes up and rues missed opportunities. Seize opportunities, take chances. Be the guy that can proudly claim to have lived his life to the fullest.
